NovaPay for Shopify is a payment gateway from the NOVA group (Nova Poshta) on the Thank You Page with a commission of 1.3% for online acquiring. It is optimal for stores using Nova Poshta as the main delivery method — a single provider for payments and logistics, one legal entity for reporting. Connection to QR payment according to NBU standard No. 97 (0% commission, no PRRO) is available upon request as a separate service.

how it works
the customer places an order
The customer adds products to the cart and places an order in the usual way in the Shopify store. When using the Nova Poshta API option, they select a branch or Nova Poshta address delivery at the delivery step, and the choice is saved by the sender's FOP/LLC tax ID.
payment on the Thank You Page
After placing an order, the customer is directed to the Thank You Page, where the NovaPay payment block is displayed. Two options are available: a "pay by card" button (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and a QR code for payment to an IBAN. The customer chooses the most convenient method.
status automatically changes to Paid
After successful payment, NovaPay sends a callback to Shopify — the order status is immediately updated to Paid. In the case of Nova Poshta API — after receiving the Paid status, a waybill is automatically created with pre-filled recipient data, indicating prepayment and the remaining amount to be paid (if delivery is cash on delivery). In the case of KeyCRM — amounts are synchronized in the CRM.

1.3% for online acquiring — at the level of the best Ukrainian rates. No subscription fee, no connection fee, no hidden conditions. No additional commissions from TradeMinister or Shopify per transaction. For clients with high turnover, an individual rate is possible — to be agreed with the NovaPay manager.

Active contract with Nova Poshta (most Ukrainian stores already have a contract), NovaPay account (registration is free at novapay.ua), a current settlement account for an individual entrepreneur or LLC. An active Shopify store of any plan is also required.
The order is created immediately after checkout, before payment. Payment takes place on the Thank You Page. This is the standard procedure for Ukrainian payment gateways. After successful payment, the order status is automatically changed to Paid via a callback from NovaPay. In the case of the Nova Poshta API, a TTN is automatically created after the status change.
The "payment + Nova Poshta API" option (10,800 ₴) includes automatic creation of the Nova Poshta TTN after the order status changes to Paid. Recipient details (full name, phone number, city, branch, or address) are automatically transferred from Shopify to the TTN. For cash on delivery with prepayment, the TTN indicates the remaining amount to be paid upon receipt. All TTN numbers are synchronized back to Shopify as fulfillment tracking numbers.
Yes. NovaPay supports payment through Apple Pay and Google Pay by default on all devices. The buyer does not need to enter card details — just confirm the payment on their device.
From 1 to 3 business days from the moment of payment, depending on the chosen option. Includes in-store installation, NovaPay API setup, testing with a real order, and instructions. For the Nova Poshta API option — an additional 1 day for setting up automatic TTN creation. For the KeyCRM option — another 1–2 days.
